Resumo

In this work we seek to present the challenges that teachers faced in the 2020 pandemic, and the possible solutions. Here are reports from teachers who have experienced, in practice, the education process remotely during the social isolation. There are also included in this monograph, definitions of terms such as Distance Education (DE) and Emergency Remote Education (ERE). There is even a chart with the main technological tools and their functions, as well as links for the lector to see for himself. At last, there was verified the necessity of having familiarity with virtual technologies, so that it would be possible to have a more fluid development of the classes, and noticed too, that in an overall level, the teachers were successful in implementing emergency remote teaching. Therefore, it is intended to encourage as many music educators as possible to report their experiences in the virtual teaching environment.
