A ultilização de transportes alternativos no turismo

Abstract

This study aimed to present the varied alternative of the existing and used means of transportation for tourism in Brazil and around the world. The qualitative method had as a sample the different types of transportation, of the three existing modes. The study has the bibliographic character being based on the collection of data from books, articles, dissertations, magazines and electronic documents duly referenced. In this way a brief contextualization of concepts, modalities and history of means of transportation such as public, touristic and alternative, was carried out. Benefits such as greater speed of travel, cheaper travel, new experiences and greater circulation to destinations where the supply of public means of transportation are inefficient overcame a possible lack of safety due to lack of adequate regulation. It has also been noticed that there is a growing demand for new or unusual alternatives of means of transportation. And it has been found that there are several types of alternative means of transportation being used for tourism, and that tourists are increasingly seeking new and unique experiences in their travels.
