Resumo

This paper presents a theoretical analysis of the use of cinematic language in the teaching of geography, emphasizing its use as a didactic-pedagogical instrument in geography classes as part of the observation of geographical space. With the advancement of technologies and the various tools that we can use as methods to facilitate teaching and learning and the range of information available we find that the school in this context is fundamental as a promoter of strategies that cover different language modalities for analysis and interpretation. The films, however, are interesting tools to be used in education, and can be worked with optics focused on curricular content, raising debates on relevant issues in studies of the geography discipline, as well as playing a interdisciplinary role in school. Through literature reviews we can display a theoretical analysis on the use of film language in geography classes, procedures and care when showing a movie in the classroom.
