Resumo
The inclusion of people with deafness in dance is far from ideal, this is evident in the limited existence of deaf dancers and in the lack of preparation of people responsible for working dance with the deaf. This research sought to carry out the mapping of scientific productions in the period between the years 2005 to 2021 regarding deafness in the field of dance and to analyze the variables involved in the process of publishing them. For this, sources such as Scielo, Oasis Brasil, UFBA, UNICAMP, UFRGS and UEA repositories were used in a qualitative-quantitative approach. As a result, 20 publications were selected, being Course Completion Works, Dissertations, Theses and Articles. It was observed the unanimity of hearing authors, as well as a constant increase in the publications of studies in recent years. In addition, there was a significant predominance of the Southeast and South regions in the origin of the studies, in contrast, the North region was the most scarce in productions, which highlights the imbalance of resources between Brazilian regions in the academic and scientific scenario. From the data obtained, it is possible to verify that it is feasible to develop dance with deaf people, as long as those responsible are prepared. This inclusion promotes benefits for all sides, so it is essential that there is engagement of society to demand the implementation and supervision of accessibility policies for deaf people. In addition, the purpose of this research is to encourage other researchers to generate new works on the subject so that knowledge and progress is generated for Science, Education, Culture and for the deaf community.
