Resumo
In this final paper we present the diversity of extremophiles and expose their importance for the development of life on a planet and/or exoplanet. We showed a planetary taxonomy that will help us in the analysis of planetary habitability. We approached basic concepts of Astronomy and Astrophysics, tools that proved to be useful in the estimation of astrophysical parameters of planetary and multi- planetary systems -as well as of their respective exoplanets. Among the estimated parameters we estimated are: mass, radius, temperature, evolutionary stage, luminosity and flux of the mother-star. From those, we calculated the upper and lower limits of the habitability zone for each star. In order, the parameters for the exoplanets were estimated, namely: distance between the exoplanet and its mother- star, temperature and mass of given exoplanet. With this information and in posses of the planetary taxonomy and the habitability zone data we arrive at the potentially habitable exoplanets.
