Trilhas do pesquisador: manual de orientação para o universitário

Resumo

The university experience involves teaching, research, and outreach activities that guide students on their journey of discovery and contributions to the advancement of scientific knowledge. In the Amazonian context, knowledge production plays a significant role in valuing territories, knowledge, and local practices. This didactic and applied manual was developed based on pedagogical experiences shared in the Academic Production course at the School of Arts and Tourism of the State University of Amazonas and is grounded in scientific methodology references, especially Lakatos and Marconi (1996; 2021), Dencker (2001), Gil (1991), and the guidelines of the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards. Organized into tracks, it presents: Track 1, general knowledge of academic production; Track 2, guidance on the structure of a scientific research project; and Track 3, the responsible and ethical use of Generative Artificial Intelligence in academic production. The pathways highlight five essential practices: discipline, consistency, planning, execution, and dissemination of academic production, which foster the development of theoretical competencies, practical skills, and collective actions in the construction of knowledge, leading to the essence of being a university student.
