Resumo

Endophytic fungi represent a vast diversity of species that reside in various plants and are of great interest in the search for new compounds with chemical and biological variability. Their ability to colonize environments with constant metabolic interactions makes them promising candidates for the production of enzymes with potential biotechnological application. In this context, the present study isolated strains of endophytic fungi from samples of leaves, inflorescences, stems and seeds of plants of the species Rollinia mucosa (Jacq.) and, after the strain selection stage, the growth of filamentous fungi isolated in culture medium of the genera Trichoderma and Fusarium was observed. The results of the research, based on the literature, of the enzymatic activities of lipolytic, proteolytic, chitinolytic and cellulolytic, for these genera of endophytes, demonstrated high variability of uses in research, with emphasis on the biological control of phytopathogens by Trichoderma sp. In conclusion, the results of the microbiological and biochemical review show that the endophytic fungi Trichoderma and Fusarium isolated from R. mucosa have potential in terms of production of metabolites of industrial and/or biotechnological interest.
