Dinâmica comercial e redes de sociabilidade entre a comunidade São Sebastião do Boto (Igarapé) e a sede municipal de Parintins (AM)

Abstract

This research aimed to: analyze productive aspects and networks of trade and sociability, understanding how the interviewee is inserted into commercial practices and networks of mutual aid and exchange that connect the interior with the urban area. The specific objectives were: to present the life trajectory between the interior and the city; to analyze the socioeconomic profile and housing of the family; to describe the main aspects of circulation; to describe the existing aid networks in the city and the interior. The research was carried out in the São Sebastião do Boto community, focusing mainly on the family of Mr. Manoel de Souza, who resides in a stream near the community center. The research has a qualitative/quantitative approach, of an exploratory and descriptive nature, using field research as methodology. For data collection, questionnaires were applied, direct observation was made, and photographic records were taken. It is possible to understand the dynamics of sociability and the commercial flows between the two spaces, considering the perspectives of the family itself.
