Interpretação do patrimônio: uma análise nos atrativos culturais do Centro Histórico de Manaus/AM

Abstract

This research has as main interest to know the techniques of heritage interpretation that are used in the cultural attractions of the Historic Center of Manaus, because the heritage goes beyond contemplation, it should involve the visitor with knowledge, optimizing and qualifying the tourist experience of the city. visit. Thus, the study had as its general objective: To analyze which interpretative resources of heritage are used by the cultural attractions of the Historic Center of Manaus. As for the specific objectives: Describe the historical and legal aspects of the heritage built in the Historic Center of Manaus; Identify the use of heritage interpretation techniques in cultural attractions; and Analyze the interpretative media used by the cultural attractions of the historic center. As for the methodological procedures, the method is inductive, as it comes from the particular to the general, the research objectives are exploratory and descriptive with bibliographic and field research procedures that were performed from observations during the visit in twelve (12) attractions of the Historic Center of Manaus, as follows: 1. Teatro Amazonas; 2. Adolpho Lisbon Market; 3. State Public Library; 4. Rio Negro Palace Cultural Center; 5. Palace of Justice Cultural Center; 6. Usina Chaminé Cultural Center; 7. Casa Eduardo Ribeiro Museum; 8. Largo Amazon Museum; 9. Manaus City Museum; 10. Indian Museum; 11. Amazonian Museum; 12. Provincial Palace and its respective spaces: Museum of Image and Sound of Amazonas - MISAM; Tiradentes Museum; Numismatics Museum of the Amazon; Museum of Archeology and Pinacoteca of the State, the criterion of choice of these goods was because they are places of visitation for the general public. The data collection instrument, being an observation script, was elaborated based on Costa (2009) that considers the techniques as personal and impersonal interpretative media therefore, the approach is characterized as a qualitative research. The data showed that the places surveyed have some kind of interpretive resources, using personal and impersonal media. However, resources are not always being used optimally, failing to achieve the goal of interpretive communication. However, the results made it possible to know these places and the way the interpretative techniques are performed in the most significant heritage sites of the city, making theoretical contributions on the subject in question, and the possibility of practical applicability of the study through the realization of an interpretative plan, among others. so many other opportunities for the sites searched.
