Resumo
The present work was based on a bibliographical research and field research that was
held at the Amaturá State School, in the city of Amaturá - AM. This field research
was developed and aimed to collect data together with teachers and
diagnose if they adopt the racial themes that law 10.639/03 addresses In field research
eight high school and elementary school teachers from the Amaturá State School were interviewed,
that are crowded with workloads in the discipline of History. In the first chapter we listed
an analysis of several authors to score the applicability of Law 10.639/03 and its
possibilities for anti-racist teaching, having it as a Magna Carta in its
didactic/methodological applicability. The second chapter shows the analysis and
result of field research on how is the Teaching of History and African and Afro-Brazilian
at school and whether teachers are already adopting and framing this theme in their proposals
