A integração de literatura e expressões artísticas no processo formativo do PARFOR de letras-língua inglesa: um relato de experiência em Presidente Figueiredo (AM)

Abstract

This study aims to report the pedagogical experience lived in the English Language Arts course of the National Plan for the Training of Basic Education Teachers (PARFOR), at the University of the State of Amazonas (UEA), through the integration of English language literature and artistic expressions as a strategy for developing linguistic skills. The research was characterized as an experience report with a qualitative approach, based on the observation of teaching and learning practices carried out in the subjects of Children’s Literature and English Language Literature I and II. The results indicate that the use of artistic resources such as music, drama, and Literary reinterpretation enhanced oral comprehension, written production, and communicative confidence among teachers in training. It is concluded that the interdisciplinarity between literature and art contributes to overcoming linguistic difficulties and promotes more meaningful, critical, and contextualized learning in the Amazonian context.
