A vida de Raimunda Queiroz no dobradisse: um relato de experiência na pesquisa com história oral de vida

Abstract

This work is an account of an experience about a life story on the banks of the Mariepaua River. The research was conducted through interviews with Dona Raimunda, who was born and lived for many years in the Dobradisse community, located on the Mariepaua River, a left tributary of the Madeira River. The objectives of the work are to explore the riverside life experience and understand the various elements that influence the social conditions of riverside peoples. Throughout the work, important elements were observed in the reconstruction of the interviewee's memories, through oral tradition. The results of the research show the importance of the relationship between the riverside dwellers and the territory and its natural resources, such as the forest and the rivers. It made evident the social relevance of work in supporting the family while also highlighting the harsh and arduous working conditions of the riverside dwellers. And it showed the absence of basic rights for Dona Raimunda and her family, and for the populations that live far from the cities and on the margins of the state's public policies.
