A chegada da igreja de deus pentecostal do brasil-idpb em Novo Aripuanã: um relato de experiência em pesquisa

Abstract

This work seeks to contribute to the academic field by offering an account of experience in the form of historical research on the municipality of Novo Aripuanã, demonstrating the steps and results of the process of applying and constructing knowledge inherent to the training of history professionals. The object studied in this context was the Pentecostal Church of God of Brazil (IDPB) and its social, cultural, and political impact on the Aripuanã community. To this end, the Oral History method was used, recording interviews with people connected to the scenario proposed by the theme. These interviews originated the oral sources used to obtain the results. In general, it can be stated that the IDPB offered a rich scenario of experiences in various aspects of life, more specifically in relation to evangelism, which resulted in political and cultural actions that marked the group belonging to this religious entity.
