A Suíte BWV 1007 de J. S. Bach (1685-1750) ao violão: uma proposta adaptativa historicamente fundamentada

Abstract

This work consists on building a proposal for transcribing J. S. Bach’s Cello suite BWV1007 to the guitar, by means of procedures which were used by Bach and his contemporaries, under the goals of investing the use of such procedures for a modern instrument as the guitar. On the grounds of deductive model, our methodological basis consisted on musicological research ground primary and secondary sources, and on analysing, under a critical aproach, academical dissertations and thesis around transcription processes from bowed strings instruments for plucked strings ones. We thought choices for the aim of assuring workout a for transcribing J. S. Bach’s works to the guitar in this day and age.
