This research has as its theme: The Importance of the Pedagogical Environment for the
Development of Early Childhood Education students, with the general objective of knowing
the contributions of the pedagogical environment to the learning of children in Early Childhood
Education, starting from the specific objectives, presents the propitious characteristics of the
spaces for teaching and learning, to perceive the stimuli of the pedagogical environment for
physical, cognitive, social and affective development and to verify the performance of students
in the spaces offered by the teachers for learning. Such objectives question the importance of
physical spaces for the development and learning of children, as well as the interactions
established in this environment and the real role of the educator in the spaces offered to the
students. The referring investigation is qualitative, based on bibliographic research for a better
understanding of the theme. We resort to the deductive method, and qualitative approach. In
view of this, it was necessary to use some techniques for the research, such as non-participatory
observation and questionnaires that outline the specific objectives. For the analysis and
discussion of the results, the hermeneutic-dialectical method was necessary, contextualizing the
data collected according to the environment. According to the data analysis, it is proven that
the preparation of environments must be prepared in order to meet the needs of children, with
this, they must be prepared for the child and with the child, benefiting their motor, cognitive,
affective skills. and social, and also valuing the development of the child's autonomy and
responsibility. And the teacher with a decisive role within the school environment, it is up to
the function to organize the environment within the children's context, achieving the
development of children, such as the use of available and accessible spaces for children.
