Menino: o teatro performativo em um processo criativo negro

Abstract

This final course project proposes an analysis of the performance in the autobiographical show *Menino* by Cia. Café Preto. In this work, I revisit my childhood memories and experiences in order to recount them from a critical perspective, mediating a debate with the spectator about freedom, loneliness, and the image that the periphery and Black men have in current society. This investigation was conducted using the Performative Research methodology (Haseman, 2015), as it meets the needs that an artistic creation demands to be recorded as academic research and writing.
