Resumo
The Northern Region in this second decade of the 21st century is certainly
the most vital space in organizing and discussing Religious Education
in Brazil. It appears that the scientific production by students,
teachers and researchers in the Amazon is gaining attention
especially in some works that seek to recover various aspects of
memory and practices of this curricular component in the educational scenario
local. Even though it is still restricted, the ER has not been forgotten.
We already have dissertations, articles and different works at events, not
only from professionals in this region, but about the region.
Specifically the state of Amazonas with a recorded history
since the 16th century with Francisco de Orellana, who, when fighting with
tribe of women, rescuing Greek mythology, leaves the legacy of long
stories of a diversity that must be propagated to local generations
and this immense country.
Education of Religion in the state accompanied the work of the missionaries,
however, as a discipline, the first information up to the
are from the 1970s, in the reports of the National Conference
of the Bishops of Brazil and in the legislation that will guide the System
State Education.
We are not here in a record of the past, but of the present,
because Amazonas holds its 6th Teaching Teachers Seminar

Religious, as well as his I Pedagogical Day of Sciences of Religion
- demonstrating the suitability and necessity of the work.
In this collection, I understand that the works are articulated in
two nuclei, initially specifically on the curricular component,
such as the following:
Science of Religion and Science of Religion Applied to Religious Education,
Rodrigo Oliveira dos Santos, a researcher from Pará, says that the legacy
promotion promoted by the scientist of religions in education and school
- which has ER, mainly, as its professional field
- can be much more inserted and used in education,
more broadly.
