Resumo

Discussions about sexual and gender diversity and freedom have become increasingly increasingly recurrent, and with this, authors around the world have increasingly written works that approach the LGBT theme. Based on a bibliographical research, the present article aims to find the publications of literature that deal with LGBT aimed at the children and teenagers published in Brazil in a five-year period, in order to define its space in the Brazilian literary sphere. space in the Brazilian literary sphere. In dealing with children's and youth literature, the article has Fanny Abramovich and Nelly Novaes Coelho as its main theoretical references, and Judith Butler for gender studies. studies, Judith Butler. Furthermore, the work argues about the aid of these works in the social construction of readers in order to foster discussion about homophobia. In results, it is intended to analyze the narrative of two works and categorize their protagonists seeking to classify them according to what was reflected from Butler's gender studies.
