A influência da imigração nordestina na formação cultural do município de Ipixuna

Abstract

This article aims to demonstrate, through research, how immigration from Northeast Brazil influenced the cultural formation of the municipality of Ipixuna, its contributions to the social and cultural development of the region, bringing with it a rich diversity of traditions, customs, and knowledge. It highlights the search for better living conditions and the coexistence between immigrants and the local population. This research, sparked by interest in the History of the Amazon II course, will be conducted using a qualitative approach, with interviews of residents, both children of Northeastern immigrants and natives, to explore their experiences and perceptions. The work intends to analyze cultural elements such as music, cuisine, and festivities, as well as the challenges faced by immigrants in their adaptation. The first chapter will address the national context of immigration, while the second will delve into the history of the Northeastern presence in Ipixuna. The ultimate goal is to value this influence and preserve the rich cultural heritage for future generations.
