Os efeitos da pandemia de covid-19 na vida dos acadêmicos do curso de turismo na escola superior de artes e turismo-ESAT

Abstract

This work aims to analyze the perceptions of university students in the Tourism course at the School of Arts and Tourism, State University of Amazonas ESAT/UEA, about the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic in their academic life. In the specific objectives, it presents the perceptions of the interviewees in times of pandemic of covid-19, analyzing how the pandemic changed the motivation to study, with the intention of gathering information about the student's personal, social and professional life. The methodology used was the google forms platform, applied through a questionnaire, analyzing the effects caused on students and mainly on the adaptations of new learning techniques that remote learning presents. The work will be divided into three chapters, firstly by the history of pandemics and epidemics in the world and the history of the covid-19 pandemic in Brazil. In the second chapter the impacts of covid-19 caused in the tourism sector in the world, in the tourism sector in the world, effects on education in Brazil, effects of the covid-19 pandemic in higher education in Rio de Janeiro and the effects caused in the sector of tourism in Amazonas and later present the results and analysis of the research. Students were harmed in all social spheres, showing greater attention on the personal and social side, showing the reality in which they are inserted and their difficulties presented in this research.
