Acompanhamento digital no ensino de violino: análise descritiva de 3 aplicativos como alternativa à correpetição

Abstract

The absence of a piano accompanist in violin classes at the State University of Amazonas (UEA) over eight semesters, from 2018 to 2023, significantly hindered the interpretative development of students. In response to this gap, this study aims to evaluate the use of the applications My Pianist, Metronaut, and Partituras Tomplay as digital alternatives to traditional piano accompaniment. This is a qualitative, exploratory, and descriptive study, based on practical experimentation with the applications during both classroom activities and individual practice sessions, under faculty guidance. Data collection was conducted through systematic observation and reflective notes. The results indicate that, although the applications do not replace the human interaction provided by a live accompanist, they offer relevant pedagogical tools that support violin study, such as tempo control, key transposition, and harmonic support. It is concluded that these digital tools can significantly contribute to instrumental practice in contexts lacking live accompaniment.
