Internação pediátrica para procedimento cirúrgico: produção de vídeo informativo para o acompanhante

Abstract

To report the experience of producing an informative video about institutional routines and norms for the companions of children with an indication for surgical procedures. Method: A technological production study, developed in three stages, from September 2023 to February 2024, with healthcare professionals and companions of hospitalized children and those with an indication for hospitalization for surgical procedures, in a public pediatric hospital in Manaus, Amazonas. Results: In the first stage, based on the analysis of interviews with the participants, 14 emerging themes were identified, guiding the structuring of the storyboard and the narrated texts. In the second stage, after reviewing and synthesizing the video material, version 1.0 was produced. In the third stage, version 1.0 was evaluated by key professionals in the institution, and after adjustments, version 2.0 was achieved. Conclusion: The video has the potential to prepare the companion for hospitalization for surgical procedures by transmitting information
