Degradação socioambiental em área de preservação permanente ( APP ) ocupação irregular do Castanhal na cidade de Parintins- AM

Abstract

Human action in favor of city expansion has jeopardized the social and environmental balance. An example of this is the irregular occupation of Castanhal in the city of Parintins. The article aimed to analyze the socio-environmental degradation process resulting from the irregular occupation in the Castanhal area in Parintins/AM. It sought to highlight the relationship between man and nature and its implications for the environment and to discuss the relationship between irregular occupations and their insertion within areas of environmental preservation; identify the socio-environmental problems found in the Castanhal area. Bibliographical and documental research and field visits in the aforementioned area of occupation were adopted as methodological procedures. The research is qualitative, exploratory in nature, as it aims to discover, explain and understand the facts that are inserted or that make up a certain reality. It was found that the socio-environmental problems in the area of Castanhal in the city of Parintins, is a Permanent Preservation Area, which makes these problems take delicate projections, since it is an important ecosystem for the quality of life of the parintinese.
