História da colônia de pescadores de Novo Aripuanã: um relato de experiência em pesquisa acadêmica

Abstract

This experience report presents the research trajectory on the Fishermen's Colony of Novo Aripuanã, whose objective was to identify the history of the Fishermen's Colony and characterize this social organization through documentary research and accounts from associates and their legal representative. Oral History techniques were used, following the recommendations for the use of techniques by Meihy (2000), conducting interviews with people directly involved with the topic. Among the research findings are the history of the colony's origin, and the reconstruction of the fishermen's struggle, as well as the difficulties faced until its establishment in the municipality and the acquisition of resources through its organization. Thus, this research is significant for recording part of local history and as support for future studies similar to this one.
