Coleção botânica de cascas com utilidades medicinais da região de Parintins AM

Abstract

The didactic and scientific botanical collections cover a practical teaching of the teaching of botany, and can reach relevant audiences in a relevant way. The Northern region of Brazil has a great diversity of species, mainly of flora, which contributes to a didactic scientific collection, collaborating for the survey of species of a determined region. Popular knowledge has long been associated with several species of Brazilian flora, and its continuous use by riverside dwellers is constant. In the plant, practically all its structure is used for various treatments, mainly the bark for medical use. Thus, the objective of this work was to build a collection of medicinal barks with species collected in the Parintins region, exposing its indications and some properties. The collections were carried out in the city of Parintins and nearby regions, later deposited in the Herbarium of the Center for Higher Studies of Parintins (CESP-UEA), undergoing the process of cleaning, drying, identification and assembly of the collection. In addition to the didactic collection, a scientific collection of the samples was made, kept as a collection for future studies, with a catalog and some utilities of the species.
