As histórias em quadrinhos (hq’s) como proposta para o ensino da entomologia aquática

Abstract

Comics (comic books) appeared for the first time in newspapers and, over time, they gained more and more coverage and admirers (MENDONÇA, 2007). Comics can arouse the interest of children and teenagers in the most diverse themes and areas of knowledge. Therefore, the objective of this work was to investigate the influence of the use of comic books for the learning of scientific concepts about aquatic insects in Basic Education. The methodology used was qualitative research. The instruments for data collection in the research were: literature review and production of a folder containing a comic book for the teaching of zoology. We produced a booklet on aquatic entomology entitled “The adventures in Insetópolis”, showing the importance of these beings. With the development of the research, we could observe that comic books are important didactic resources for the teaching and learning process of aquatic entomology for Basic Education students.
