Resumo
This report is the result of research conducted during the Supervised Teaching Internship in History in the Youth and Adult Education program, which took place at the Prefeito Donga Michiles State School, located in the municipality of Maués-AM. Its main objective is to explain the importance of teaching History in Youth and Adult Education. Specific objectives include contextualizing History content so that students see themselves as historical subjects; using memories as historical learning tools within the context of History teaching; and understanding the educational impact on students' lives. The methodological procedure involved bibliographic review and document analysis of laws, as well as observation and field notes. Thus, we can understand that the supervised internship is a period that allows students to maintain a closer relationship with teaching, facing classroom difficulties alongside the supervising teacher and learning about teaching practices. The internship, therefore, is a process that enables the development of critical thinking based on observations from classroom work, providing a personal perspective on their teaching performance.
