Resumo

The concern of this research was to demonstrate our performance in the specialized Court of the Federal Prosecutor's Office with FUNAI, studying the case of the Apurinã indigenous people of the Catipari-Mamoriá Indigenous Land and the riverside inhabitants of the Médio Purus Extractive Reserve with the concern of thinking about land regularization for indigenous peoples. , which immediately comes to mind the process of demarcation of indigenous lands of traditional occupation, as established in the caput and first paragraph of article 231 of the Constitution and in Decree no 1775/96. Another objective was to present the social and land diversity of Brazil's indigenous peoples, as this requires thinking about access to other forms of land regularization, without forgetting the need to continue with the demarcations of indigenous land, given the existence of claim in this sense from the respective indigenous group. The methodology we used was published literature, legislation and FUNAI documents. We conclude that the most relevant impressions about the land regularization of indigenous peoples with respect to their territoriality were made outside the National Foundation of Indigenous Peoples.
