Resumo
This work is the result of a study whose general objective is to find out how the practice of educational tourism contributes to building a sense of belonging to the Manauara culture in the third year of secondary school at the Escola Estadual de Tempo Integral Prof. Sérgio Alfredo Pessoa Figueiredo and Escola Estadual Marechal Hermes. The specific objectives were: to identify whether there is content related to Manauara culture in the teaching of the 3rd year; to describe how the practice of pedagogical tourism contributes to the feeling of belonging; and to discuss the value of the practice of pedagogical tourism in the formation of students' cultural identity. This is a qualitative-quantitative study, basic in nature and descriptive in purpose. It is a field study with non-probabilistic sampling. Data was collected using a questionnaire applied via Google Forms. The results show that there is a significant interest among students in educational tourism activities and a perception of its educational value. They also show that practical experience is highly valued by students, highlighting the importance of teaching methods that explore environments beyond the classroom. It is hoped that this work will contribute to the school field and the material, critical, academic and social construction passed on to high school students regarding belonging to the culture they are part of.
