Biodiversidade de fungos da amazônia: coleta e estudo de macrofungos em um fragmento urbano de mata secundária, no município de Parintins/Am

Abstract

This work aimed to analyze the biodiversity of macrofungi in an urban fragment of secondary forest in the municipality of Parintins/AM, contributing to the mycological knowledge of the Amazon Region. Monthly collections were carried out from October 2024 to March 2025, using a qualitative-quantitative methodology, with identification based on macro and microscopic morphological characteristics. A total of 55 species were recorded, distributed among 34 genera and 24 taxonomic families, with emphasis on Polyporaceae, Ganodermataceae, and Hygrophoraceae. A greater richness of species was observed during the rainy season, highlighting the influence of the rainfall regime on the local mycobiota. As an additional product of the research, an educational e-book was developed containing guidelines on collection and conservation techniques for macrofungi, aimed at promoting Environmental Education and scientific dissemination. The results reinforce the importance of urban forest fragments for the conservation of fungal diversity and for advancing knowledge about the ecological and biotechnological potential of Amazonian macrofungi.
