Política de inovação para os bionegócios: o caso de uso no centro de biotecnologia da Amazônia.

Abstract

The Amazon Biotechnology Center - CBA's main objective is research, development and innovation (by the acronym R, D&I), based on the use of biodiversity. In addition to all this, efforts are being made to encourage the technological training of biotechnology companies, promoting the development of bioproducts, contributing to the economic diversification of the Amazon region, both by attracting investment and creating a bioindustry hub. After several years of management change process, the CBA is in the process of finalizing the selection of the Social Organization (OS), which should manage the institution. With the objective of mapping the innovation process for the proposition of a draft Innovation Policy for the CBA, the study is of a qualitative nature with a systematic literature review, being subsidized by the construction of a SWOT analysis and guided by the Design Thinking tool , generating inputs for proposing the draft of the Technological Innovation Policy, which was designated to be applied by the institution in its new management process. The mapping thus allowed the main guidelines for the development of the draft to be raised, creating the criteria for participation of the research institution in the regional market, receipt of financial resources, management of intellectual property and technology transfer, as well as other relevant points for innovation management. In this way, the National Innovation Policy, formalized by Decree n.10.534, of October 28, 2020, is aligned. The draft, thus, can be incorporated by the new CBA management, and, from this, generate improvements for the projects developed at the institution.
