Resumo

This project intends to study the affections in the current pandemic times, making a shift to look at distancing and contact in the urban environment. This research focuses on the line "Body, Contemporaneity, Language Production and Aesthetics in Dance". Under this scenario, we understand that the pandemic brought changes in all areas of society. Being near and far in the pandemic period can mean ways of affecting the human being. The research directs us to the cartography of affections, drawn from the interweaving between concepts of Deleuze and Guattari (2010), Tuan (1983), Passos and Barros (2010), Passos and Eirado (2010), Rolnik (2016), Mbembe (2011). We believe, as a disquieting and perceiving body of its environment, that distancing and contact in the urban environment, in the current context, constituted generators of creation material for the writing of the body in performance and promoted the body sensitive to its environment. The fundamentals that guide the research are related to the states of affectations of the body in the environment, cartographic processes, corpography on the study of the body-city, the sense of place and space, and the politics of power. This study is configured as qualitative research, in this case, attentive to human phenomena, and is understood here as part of social reality. The research is exploratory in nature, since its objective is to provide an approximate overview of a certain event, in order to make it explicit. In the methodological delineation pointed out, the research shows the performative creation under the contemporary look of the body in the environment of affectations and manifestation of discourses about the pandemic of COVID-19; the production of cartographic narratives of creative processes; theoretical and practical perspectives of/on the body under the look for the distancing and contact in the urban environment; and experimentation in performance through the affections of the place. The methodological strategies of this work focus on human phenomena as part of social reality. The present research-intervention proposes a deterritorial movement in relation to the pandemic event, understood here as territory. This means searching for lines of escape, in order to create concepts and give new meaning to the affections of the pandemic, because when a territory becomes too tight, cartography is in charge of pointing out its lines of escape. By proposing deterritorializing movements that displace the daily experience of the pandemic into a context of encounter and creation, the performance draws affective cartographies that create this place of power, bringing new perspectives and elaborations about the lived events.
