Resumo

This research aims to discuss from theory and practice how the artistic trajectory in the field of scenic practices contributed to my teacher training. The question that guides the work is: what resonances do the artistic experiences, lived with the work Os saltimbancos, at different stages of my life, contribute to my training as a teacher-artist-researcher of theater? In order to obtain answers to this question, I establish as a general objective of this research to analyze the direct and indirect influences, difficulties and learning from my experiences with Musical Theater, specifically with the work Os Saltimbancos and what contributions of this trajectory in the formation of the teacher- artist. The specific objectives are: To identify difficulties and learnings in my experiences with the work, to reflect on the pedagogical practices adopted in the classroom that came from my trajectory as an artist and, finally, to articulate how the lived experiences collaborated in my formation as an Artist Teacher. I reflect on the pedagogy adopted by me as a theater teacher, which paths were chosen for the construction of an adequate pedagogical space and how much the previous experience in the artistic field favored or hindered the choice of this pedagogy. I also emphasize the importance of this research for artists who intend to enter the field of formal or non-formal education and who, through this personal cut, will have a vision of the real panorama of experiences working in this scenario. This research is important for critically analyzing the experiences lived by me in the field of Theater as an actor and director and identifying the contributions, if any, to the pedagogical field when entering formal education as a teacher, as well as this experience also contributed or not for later experiences in non-formal teaching in professional theater companies. I question myself from my experiences, especially about this educator who, armed with his artistic background, embarks on the most different institutions of formal and non-formal education, facing different realities such as: overcrowded classrooms, lack of pedagogical resources, low remuneration , violent and oppressive environments, inaccessibility of subjects, among others, and I evaluate whether or not there is also a positive adaptation in the midst of so many realities existing in the school environment. The methodology used for the development of this research will be based on bibliographic research, which will be based on the fields of autoethnography, pedagogy and narrative. In the second chapter, I present a brief summary of the text Os Saltimbancos, origin, inspirations and adaptations of the work. In the sequence, from the third to the fifth chapter, I will narrate an order of three reports of experience in which I was directly involved with the aforementioned work within the language of Musical Theater in the southeastern and northern regions of the country, respectively. In order to reflect and understand the experiences lived in different contexts and to collaborate for the transformation of artistic/teaching practice within the processes to which it was inserted, I make a personal dive into the river of my memories.
