A importância do ensino de história local nas escolas de Carauari: uma oportunidade de valorizar a história e cultura no ensino médio

Abstract

This final course paper aims to present reflections on the development of the teaching-learning process in the subject of history, highlighting how history and local culture can be incorporated as learning objects in the classroom. The text in question is an experience report, produced from the experiences of the supervised internship, a fundamental period for the training of a teacher. Thus, the research also highlights the holding of a historical soiree, developed with high school students with the aim of rescuing and valuing the various aspects of local culture. To this end, the data collected for this study were acquired through the application of a questionnaire to the students and also through an interview with the history teacher. The results show how important the historical soiree was in valuing local history and culture. At the end of the research, there is a general appreciation of the work developed, highlighting the importance of teaching history for student development and the appreciation of local history and culture.
