O ensino de ciências e as TICS no ensino fundamental I em escolas públicas de Boa Vista – RR uma análise sobre a influência das tecnologias no IDEB

Resumo

This work presents a study on the use of Information and Communication Technologies - ICT in Science Teaching in three public elementary schools in the city of Boa Vista - Roraima, with the purpose to understand the use and possible contributions to the Basic Education Development Index - IDEB. This research has a qualitative and descriptive approach. Data collection was carried out through application of a questionnaire with open and closed questions, 6 science teachers and 100 students attending the 4th and 5th grade answered this questionnaire. The results show that although the presence of technologies in daily life of the students and the mastery and interest in technological tools, the use of these tools by teachers for the development of learning is still not meaningful. On the other hand, although some schools have presented an increase in the evaluation of the IDEB from 2007 to 2013, the insertion of educational technologies for the production of knowledge in the school environment, has not been clearly the reason for this change. The importance of continuing education for teachers in the use of ICT. Keywords: Technology. Science teaching. Computer science in the Education.
