Plantas medicinais utilizadas na área urbana do município de Boca do Acre-Am

Abstract

The present study consists of a qualitative and quantitative ethnobotanical survey of the medicinal plants used by residents of the urban area of ​​the municipality of Boca do Acre, located in the state of Amazonas. To carry out this work, two municipality sites located close to the Acre and Purus Rivers, within its perimeter urban area, where the data collection was carried out by means of registration in a questionnaire, semi-structured open interviews, in which a list of plants was also made, in order to record if I use a field notebook, to list the types of plants as well as their use and its preparation, a cell phone with a digital camera, to store different types of images, which was used with the purpose of helping in the identification of the plants, used by the residents for the therapeutic purpose. A total of 79 plant species were recorded for the purpose of herbal medicines that are used in the treatment of various diseases and illnesses such as flu, stomach pains, fighting bad cholesterol, malaria, asthma, dengue, among others.
