Resumo

This Final Course Work entitled “The inclusion of immigrant and refugee children refugee children: Supervised Internship experiences in Early Childhood Education”. the main objective was to understand the challenges and possibilities in the pedagogical work with immigrant and refugee children, from an inclusive perspective. perspective. The specific objectives were about childhood, children and Early Childhood Education, relating them to legal legal documents; to contextualize the rights of immigrants and refugees, rights of immigrants and refugees, emphasizing the right to education; to learn about the actions developed by the the challenge of including immigrant and refugee children. The locus of the investigation was a Municipal Center for Early Childhood Education - CMEI - in the east of the city. CMEI - in the east of Manaus. The methodology used was bibliographical research, documentary and field research. The theoretical basis was based on the contributions of national national authors, in particular: Kramer (2000; 2006; 2014); Kuhlmann (2000; 2012); Massuqueto and Ujjie (2009); Pellanda and Frossard (2022); Sobrinho (2014; 2017). The documentary research focused on the following documents: National National Curricular Guidelines for Early Childhood Education (2010); Amazonian for Early Childhood Education (2019); Refugee Law (1997); Migration Law (2017). Migration Act (2017). The research subjects were: 20 children aged 4 to 5; 3 teachers; 2 pedagogical staff (secretary and support teacher); 2 lunch ladies, 2 general service workers and 1 janitor. To collect the field, semi-structured interviews and participant observation were used. observation, which includes a field notebook and an internship report, under the phenomenological method and qualitative approach. The results showed that the Early Childhood Education institution has many more doubts and difficulties than effective pedagogical work with immigrant and refugee children. refugee children. In this sense, we reinforce the need for more studies on the subject to contribute to the work of teachers and to the struggle on behalf of the excluded. Keywords: Immigrant and refugee children.
