Resumo
Currently, what is called “music from the edge” is
a phonographic production from the 80's resulting from a period of accentuation of the dependent character of the capitalist industry
of music in Brazil. As a result of migratory flows reinforced by the
industrial pole and Free Zone of Manaus. It is a production that inherits from the music of the 19th century and, at the same time, is connected with
foreign genres disseminated in the context of the movement
managed from capital to the region, an integrative process from the region to the movement of accumulation of monopoly capital.
