Resumo
This study aims to analyze the representation of nature and man in the work Estações, by Celdo Braga, who thinks and sees green with the vision of someone who was born and lives surrounded by the forest; as specific we intend to discuss and interpret how in such a production the lyrical self, by making use of exceptional expressive effectiveness, deconstructs the thesis that in the Western Amazon, which is on the equator, there are only two seasons. This research tends to be necessary in several respects, both as a literary, social and ecological function. Celdo Braga, although he is known and popular in our region, his lyrical work is little studied in academic circles. The methodological procedures are based on qualitative research with bibliographic surveys, critical analysis and interpretation of the poems. This proposed analysis is based on the study of the meanings of the text, for which we are anchored in the theoretical assumptions of Jonathan Bate(2000) about ecocriticism/ecopoetics; Candido (2011/1996), Paz (2003) and Pound (2003), on Literary Theory. We begin with theoretical reflections on poems and poetry and then explore each section of the work, with the aim of revealing the ways in which the poet contemplates the cycles of nature in the region where he lives.
