Resumo
The present research aimed to analyse the scientific and technical work which addressed the experiences of indigenous peoples with the tourism, particularly in the lower Rio Negro in 2012 until 2017. Studies on tourist activities carried out by indigenous peoples are of the utmost importance to understand how they have been articulating through the changes and difficulties that surround it.The importance of data as scientific productions as well as information provided by public agencies responsible for tourism is fundamental to understanding how these experiences has taken place focusing in documentary and bibliographical research sought to , identify indigenous communities involved with tourism in the lower Rio Negro-AM and meet the networks and social agents (indigenous and non-indigenous) working directly or indirectly with Tourism experiences carried out in indigenous communities. The research was characterized as qualitative which according to Richardson (1999, p. 90) seeks a "detailed understanding of the meanings and situational characteristics, instead of producing quantitative measures of characteristics or behaviors", following the bibliographic and documentary methods, the results of this research were obtained through scientific papers (theses and dissertations), magazines, newspapers, Web sites and more. The survey results show that still there are few works on this subject, which is justified because it is something that has been identified from the Decade of 1990.However, the work found are key because the territoriality approach of these experiences as well as the craft being an alternative income and cultural empowerment for those Indians who are involved with tourism and are in the region of the lower Rio Negro-AM.
