Radical duplo - métodos elementares e aplicações

Abstract

This research is limited to the study of the Double Radical of the form a ±√b or qa ± q√b, in which the objective is to present the methods for solving the Double Radical, transforming it into the sum or difference of two simple radicals, applying them to competition questions, especially in mathematical olympiads. In order to do this, it was necessary to cover elementary concepts such as potentiation, factoring, notable products and rationalization, in which five methods for solving these algebraic identities were developed.
