Resumo
The research approached Pedagogical Tourism circumscribed to educational practices, seeking
to investigate the influence of pedagogical tourism on the meaning of the culture and history of
indigenous peoples with a group of Early Childhood Education students in the 5th year of two
schools, one from the state public network and another established indigenous in the Waikyhu
Indigenous Community, Manaus-AM. The theme emerged from the Extension Project
developed in the 2018-2019 period, whose goal was to discuss art as an educational practice in
formal and non-formal schools. As for the methodological design, we conducted a study of an applied nature using the exploratory-descriptive method and a qualitative approach to
understand and interpret the interviews and semi-structured questionnaires applied to the
subjects. In the final considerations, we reaffirm the need for the school to invest in
methodologies that encourage students to appropriately play and recreate different themes,
transforming them into attractive content for learning. We suggest to the school the use of
epistemological lenses capable of reconciling differences and designing learning spaces where
everyone sees themselves as equal.
