Brinquedoteca no hospital geral de Benjamin Constant Dr. Melvino de Jesus: Um relato de experiência

Abstract

The present work with the theme Toy Library at Benjamin General Hospital Dr Constant Melvino de Jesus: An Experience Report has as general objective to analyze the need to implement a toy library at the Hospital Geral de Benjamin ConstantDr. Melvino de Jesus, in the municipality of Benjamin Constant - AM, and understand the role of the pedagogue within this non-school environment; how are the consultations carried out in a public hospital regarding the performance of the pedagogue in the hospital and also emphasize the importance of this teaching in the hospital environment. For that, the methodology used was the experience report, in which occurred for means of direct observation. During the observations made, it was noticed that there is no inside the pediatric inpatient ward, nothing that could be used as a learning tool, there is no pedagogical accompaniment, only professionals in the specific area of health, such as: doctors, nurses, technicians in nursing and social workers. There is a project to implement a toy library in the hospital under analysis, there is a room that would be destined to installation of the toy library, however, this room was adapted, there was no structural change in the hospital. As a result, we were unable to reach the overall objective. of this research. However, the recreational activities carried out by employees such as: nurses, nursing technicians and social workers within the ward HGBC, mentioned in this work, until then, have been developed with hospitalized children. This activity has contributed to the humanization of care for these children. In this sense, it is suggested to municipal governors, who give continuity to the implementation project of the toy library at HGBC, which is shelved in the Archives of the hospital under analysis
