Metodologias e práticas pedagógicas voltadas para o ensino de história: relato de experiência baseada no estágio I, Escola Almirante Barroso

Abstract

This work focuses on pedagogical methodologies and practices for teaching history, culminating in perspectives and actions based on Internship I in Elementary School II, coordinated by the History Licentiate program at the State University of Amazonas, located in the city of Boca do Acre – AM. The work reports on experiences and actions at the Almirante Barroso State School, under the direction of Principal João Pinheiro, and especially the current history teacher at the Almirante Barroso School, Ms. Maria Selma Silva Santos. These actions were implemented in the respective classrooms from the 6th to the 8th grade of Elementary School II. Thus, the actions carried out at the educational institution made it possible to analyze the curricular procedures focused on the history discipline within the educational context, as well as the performance of the school and teachers, and all the dynamics worked on within the school core, enabling meaningful learning, making historical aspects, such as temporalities, important commemorative dates, among other crucial factors aimed at making this field of teaching dynamic, awakening a critical view of the students in relation to the content. It is worth noting that the teaching of history in a contemporary context has been poorly encouraged. Furthermore, teachers often employ outdated teaching methods, resulting in unmotivated teaching. Therefore, the objective of this work is to address all didactic and methodological actions related to the teaching of history in a meticulous qualitative analysis of the teaching practiced at this institution.
