Resumo
Having noticed the lack of dramas aimed at children and young people in our region,
this monograph presents the trajectory of the future teacher, during the supervised
internships II and III that culminated in joining the Theater Group Project, at the Escola
Estadual Brigadeiro João Camarão Telles Ribeiro where he questioned the potential of a
scenic production, written and performed by children and adolescents aged 11 to 17. Aiming
to introduce young people to dramaturgical writing, ensuring the presence of elements that
relate to childhood, with freedom, spontaneity and sensitivity. In which it was proposed to
answer it through critical reflection on the creative process, initiated during the Internships
and incorporated into the work of the School’s Theater Group. Cartography was chosen as a
research method, due to the possibilities of studying more subjective objects that involve
theater production, education and teaching and through action research. During the research,
content and methodologies learned throughout the Theater Degree, in Extension Projects
and free courses were added, in order to reflect the power and scope of children’s and youth
theater in Manaus. In conclusion, we point out the need to project children’s theater as a
place for entertainment and, above all, for aesthetic experimentation.
