Educação ambiental: horta suspensa como sugestão de disciplinar interdisciplinar no município de Parintins, no reaproveitamento dos resíduos sólidos urbanos

Abstract

ABSTRACT The world of globalization is gradually transforming society into a capitalist world and consumerism, without questioning the adversities created and caused by man himself, this reflects on the population increase and brings the need to produce more and more, so consumption becomes increasingly ever bigger. Simultaneously comes the issue of the generation of urban solid waste. Emphasizing that the National Solid Waste Policy, sanctioned in 2010, the care and concern with solid waste is no longer the responsibility of a few and is now shared with everyone, including from manufacturers, traders, buyers and even the consumers. The same, incorrectly disposed, bring several damages to the environment. To contribute to the impact of environmental degradation, these residues can be reused, through the production and directing them to schools. Demonstrating in a suspended vegetable garden with students in mitigating the environmental impact, providing opportunities in its manufacture, through environmental education and raising awareness of its importance as a collaborator for the environment. Allowing these students to: Identify, build and describe which elements will decompose in their process, this allowed the research to employ the deductive method of investigation that according to Gil (1999, p.27) “is the method that starts from the general, descends to the particular. It starts from principles recognized as true and indisputable and the possibility of reaching conclusions in a purely formal way, that is, solely by virtue of its logic”, using it as a research procedure to obtain the data. The comparative method was also used, verifying which type of vegetable adapts to the climate, region and place to be planted.
