A representação da criança e do adolescente em capitães da areia, de Jorge Amado e capão pecado, de Ferréz

Abstract

This article aims to carry out a comparative study of the representation of children and adolescents in two works published at different times: "Capitães da Areia" (1937), by Jorge Amado, and "Capão Pecado" (2000), by Ferréz. We intend to evaluate the place of children and adolescents in situations of social vulnerability in the fictional production. Both works were recognised as voices from the society of their time, for expressing the violence and the situation of children and adolescents at different times in Brazilian society. We propose to indicate the singularities, the convergences and divergences present in the narratives, in the aesthetic and social aspects. With the purpose of grounding the work, we consulted the following bibliography: Dalcastagnè (2012); Barreto (2006); Bosi (2002, 1995), Stegagno-Picchio (2004), Foucault (2014), besides sites and blogs that publish content on the internet.
