Resumo

The theme addresses the characteristics of the activities carried out in rural areas regarding the conservation of the turtles of the Amazonian, the method in which activities are applied comparing two regions of different states, with external factors changing from one region to another interfering in behavior and way of life of the Amazonian turtles and which species are most present in each community. It also addresses the behavior of riverside dwellers in relation to knowing that turtles are endangered and/or extinct resources in the regions and what this causes in their lives, since these reptiles are important delicacies for them, both, eggs and adults. The results obtained, reformulate a new knowledge about the relationship of riparian dwellers with the fauna of their region, they built a deeper and scientific knowledge as a way to reconstruct a more stable environment, recovering innumerable amounts of species of turtles, still quite numbers small in relation to great loss for years, but of enormous importance so that these species are not considered extinct in the Amazon regions.
