Resumo

In order to reveal the importance of classical dance/ballet in youth and adult education (EJA), this research proposed to analyze the influence of ballet on the quality of life and on the experience with art/dance of adults in the school environment, seeking to identify the parameters of quality of life of adults before and after the classes taught, giving the opportunity to report the experience of these adults during their stay in the proposed activities and thus discuss the benefits and acquired positivities that dance offers, specifically what ballet offers brings to people who practice this modality. For this, works were analyzed mainly by Ana Mae Barbosa (2010 and 2017) that brings the Triangular Approach to the teaching of Art not as a methodology to teach how to teach art classes, but brings a flexible approach that starts from doing, appreciating and contextualizing art, with the teacher having the freedom to choose which path to take, being in this way a dialogical and problematizing proposal, intertwined with this Isabel Marques (2003) develops a teaching proposal that does not have an artificial knowledge, much less a spontaneous knowledge, however a direct relationship with the student's experience confronted with externalized knowledge, in a way that believes that dance has a social commitment to expand the student's scope, vision and bodily experiences within society to the point of making this subject a creator who thinks and has possession of an artistic language that can be transformative. Thus, at the end of this research, it was possible to perceive that ballet for young people and adults in the environment goes far beyond what a child's dream, that dance in the school environment has the ability to transform and make this place a differentiated learning environment, which enables practitioners to relate socially and culturally, offering them the power of creation, reflection and reflecting above all on the quality of life that dance can provide. Therefore, generating self-aware and accomplished learners as subjects.
