Análise dos bens imóveis de interesse histórico na avenida Joaquim Nabuco

Abstract

This research presents Avenida Joaquim Nabuco as an important scenario in the city of Manaus due to its historical context and because it historical monuments relevant to it. The preservation of the cultural historical heritage of the aforementioned avenue is analyzed through descriptive and explanatory qualitative research, using periodicals from the Hemeroteca Digital belonging to the National Library, as well as works from the Public Library of Amazonas and the collection of the ESAT-UEA Library, among others. IPHAN-AM contributes significantly to the present work with the Listing Map of the Historic Center of Manaus. Firstly, the history of the aforementioned avenue, its listed properties, and its social context. With the obtained data, a touristic itinerary is elaborated as a means of rescuing the affective memories of the same.
